The Swiss National Park in the Engadin is the only national park in Switzerland and the oldest in the Alps. It covers an area of around 170 km² and offers 80 km of designated hiking trails. The protected reserve is famous for its abundance of Alpine wildlife and flora in a virtually untouched natural landscape.
